Ann Smith began her legal career with Mr. Wiggins in 1980, and received her Paralegal Certificate in 1995 from Shelton State Community College. She is a past Governor of Tuscaloosa County Legal Secretaries' Association, and was designated its Member of the Year in 1995. In addition to normal paralegal duties, Ann also serves as Client Services Coordinator. In that role, she communicates with firm clients to ensure their needs are met in an efficient manner. Ann and her husband, J. Michael Smith of Northport, Alabama have a son, daughter-in-law, and two grandsons. They are active members of Capstone Church in Tuscaloosa, where, in 2011, Ann began "Capstone Cares", a care ministry for and by the people of Capstone Church.
