Raley L. Wiggins graduated from Birmingham-Southern College in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in music. After spending some time in the music industry, he worked with an Alabama-based insurance company before going back to school. In 2010, he received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law.
While in law school, Mr. Wiggins served as a Senior Editor of the Alabama Law Review and also spent two semesters with the Elder Law Clinic. He recently published his first work in the area of wills and estate planning, Adeemed if You Do, Adeemed if You Don’t: The Testator’s Intent to Passively Revoke a Specific Devise, 61 Ala. L. Rev. 1163 (2010). He is a member of the Alabama State Bar Association and the Tuscaloosa County Bar Association, and has been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Southern, and Middle Districts of Alabama, respectively. He has also been accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs to represent veterans, their spouses, and their dependants with the presentation, prosecution and appeal of claims for veterans benefits.
Mr. Wiggins is originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He is married to the former Ms. Sally Vann of Montgomery, Alabama, and they have a dog, Jeb.
