Marketing Coordinator

J. Kiersten Ellis, a fifth-generation Tuscaloosa resident, graduated in May 2005 with a Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, in Human Environmental Sciences and Environmental Studies. Upon graduation she accepted a management position at Chico Natural Foods Cooperative in Chico, California, where she also served a term on the Board of Directors. She later returned to graduate school at The University of Alabama where she was awarded a Master of Arts in Health Studies in 2009. In December of 2010, Kiersten was certified nationally as a Health Education Specialist (CHES). She has also been tutoring student-athletes for the Athletic Department at The University of Alabama since 2010.

A member of Christ Episcopal & Canterbury churches of Tuscaloosa, Kiersten serves in the Alabama Cursillo, Vocare, and Happening Ministries. In addition to her involvement in those ministries, she is a regular volunteer with the Tuscaloosa Community Soup Bowl and the Tuscaloosa V.A., and she is also a member of the Board of Directors for Reading Outreach.

As Marketing Coordinator, Kiersten coordinates the firm's marketing efforts in the area of estate planning. She is also responsible for the scheduling and management of educational opportunites offered by the firm's estate planning attorneys to the community, as well as to industry professionals.
